Today is the first day of my new path in politics, I’ve received my new Membership Card in the post and I have cleansed my political life for a fresh start.
However there is one particular Councillor from Medway Labour, as I predicted, that rubbished me and they have published comments that I had made in the past about the Conservatives (‘Tory-bashing’ as Cllr Ron Sands put it).
He also accused me of being of the far-right – a statement that could never be further from the truth. He obviously refuses to acknowledge that the comments were made under different circumstances.
This particular Councillor and I get on fairly well in company, and we will probably continue to do so, but personally I believe he’s just jealous I didn’t join Labour..
